How did Motorpacer come to exist?
My boyfriend is a cat 3 road cyclist. We bought a scooter to help with his training. I started motorpacing with him and immediately realized that there are other interested cyclists. Since there were no other motorpacers in our area, I started motorpacing for other cyclists.

What type of scooter do you ride?
I ride a 2009 Aprilia 244cc sport city. It’s a 4 stroke, so there are no 2 stroke emissions!

Has the scooter been modified for motorpacing?
Yes, a roller bar is attached to the back and the exhaust has been modified to point down and out, and there is a dash mounted Garmin Edge for more accurate speed control.

Are you a cyclist?
Yes, I have been cycling between 100-200 miles a week in & around the Conejo Valley for three years. I know the roads well.

Are you a motorcyclist?
Yes, I have been riding motorcycles since I was four.
